Our Mission.

At School Retooled, we're all about empowering students to be co-creators and find purpose in their journey as learners. We provide unique opportunities for students, parents, and educators to experience and develop skills related to deeper learning principles - because we believe that everyone should have access to the tools they need to reach their full potential.

Our Vision.

We see kids as the creative, curious, and talented beings that they are - and we know that they have the power to make a real impact on the world. As advocates for students, we're dedicated to fostering these unique gifts and building core academic skills, so that students can flourish as passionate learners who are ready to take on any challenge that comes their way. At School Retooled, we believe that every child deserves the chance to change the world - and we're here to help make that happen.

Meet Jeanine

Meet Jeanine - the founder of School Retooled, LLC! With over 20 years of experience in education, Jeanine brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the table. She's a Livermore, CA local, and lives there with her husband, two children, and a bunch of adorable pets - including furry, feathery, and even aquatic littles!

As a former classroom teacher, Jeanine is committed to creating innovative and engaging learning experiences for students of all backgrounds and abilities. Her experience in educational technology and leadership roles at the school and district level has made her a well-respected consultant in the field.

Jeanine's expertise in curriculum development, project-based learning, technology integration, and modern learning has made her a go-to resource for educators looking to improve their teaching practices. She's a seasoned facilitator of learning experiences who meets teachers where they are, ready to partner with them and help them grow.

When Jeanine isn't working with students or facilitating professional learning for teachers either in-person or online, you can find her in her barn (or barn shed, if we are being honest) quietly writing or reviewing curriculum (or dreaming up big ideas for the future of education)!. And when it's time to unwind? She loves spending time outdoors with her family and fur baby. Camping, paddleboarding, running, gardening, cooking, and vegging by a pool are some of Jeanine’s favorite activities, and often where her most inspired ideas come from!
